Taveuni is Fiji\’s third largest island where the film Blue Lagoon was made in 1980. The only operator is Pacific Transport whose oldest bus (in 1993) was 143 an Albion Viking VK41 reversing at the very north west end of the island, for its afternoon trip back to the main town of Somosomo. © Ian Lynas

The favourite bus of the owner and photographer is W425, re-registered after a period out of service as D3182, an Albion Viking VK41L with Lal body of 1970. Said to be AEC Ranger 4M4R016 this was refurbished in 2014. The body almost certainly is that from the Ranger andhas been extended a bit at the front the front.
