Saturday 20 April  The next meeting in the north west will be held on Saturday 20 April (Easter Saturday), at the home of Brian and Sue Rowney (17 Humber Road, Astley, Tyldesley, Manchester M29 7HL), starting at 2.30 pm.  Any offers of material will be welcome – slides (real or digital), DVDs or videos. Friday 26th – Sunday 28th April 2019   Association AUTOCARS ANCIENS DE FRANCE will be hosting an European bus rally at the Quai des Pêcheurs, HAGUENAU , France. There will be a road run on the Saturday to the groups museum. The previous event in 2015 attracted 80 vehicles . Further details on their website http://autocarsanciensdefrance.fr/

Saturday 18th May 2019 Buses Worldwide AGM  to be held at the Model Railway Club, Keen House, Calshot Street, London N1 9DA. Once the formal business of the AGM is over Norman Bartlett our retiring News Editor will give a talk.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Buses Worldwide* will be held on Saturday 18th May 2019 in the Library of the Model Railway Club, Keen House, 4 Calshot Street, London, N1 3DA at 13.00 hrs.

Nominations for election to the Management Committee must be by written notice to be received by the Secretary not later than Saturday 27th April 2019. Nominations must be proposed and seconded and must be accompanied by the nominee’s written consent. The nominee, proposer and seconder must all be members of Buses Worldwide* whose subscriptions are fully paid up. The maximum number of committee members allowed under the rules is eleven.

Motions which members wish to put to the meeting for consideration should be notified to the Secretary by 27th April 2019.

Nominations to the Committee and motions for debate will be published on the BWW website and can be obtained from the secretary.

Sunday 9th -Wednesday 12th June 2019 UITP’s biennial Summit, organised in partnership with local host Sl. Stockholmsmässan, Mässvägen, Älvsjö.

Sunday 21st July 2019  Alton Bus Rally , Anstey Park, Alton, Hampshire  The rally features free rides on buses old and new around the local area. Help to support the rally by buying a program.

29th  September 2019   Showbus International , Hertfordshire County Showground, Redbourn, Hertfordshire.

5th November 2019    Otago Heritage Bus Society Incorporated   Dunedin , New Zealand will be operating heritage buses on the shuttle service to the local race course Melbourne Cup tribute day.
