Itapemirim 10085 (CZ5635) is a Mercedes-Benz O355/6 with Nielson Diplomata coachwork. These vehicles were first introduced in 1981 and used for long distance express work. This was taken in July 1982 inside Rio bus station (sorry, I never caught any outside so it is a bit dark) waiting to load for Sao Paulo. ©Don Hudson Viacao Cometa 4326 (HY 2605)is a Scania 116 with Ciferal Dinassauro II coachwork. Taken in Rio de Janeiro in July 1982 ©Don Hudson Auto Onibus Columbia 31517 (XN 0122), a Condor bodied Mercedes-Benz. Passengers board at the rear where there is a small open area. They would then pass into the body of the bus, via a turnstile, and pay a seated conductor and would alight from the front of the bus.
