A most surprising find in a car dealer\’s yard at Mere, near Aalst, Belgium on 28 April 1981 was ex Reading Corporation 61 (CRD 235), a 1947 A.E.C. Regent 0661/Park Royal lowbridge, which was being used as an advert hoarding. Unless more information has come to light in the intervening years, it had been recorded in 1965 as being sold from Garner, Bridge of Weir to a Glasgow dealer and scrapped.© Ian Charlton
A 45 seat Bus & Car Eagle of L Coornaert of Bissegem taken in Middlesbrough in July 1978. Not too many of these vehicles were made and very few were sold to British operators. They were made in Belgium and definitely did not look English when spotted and photographed. © Don Hudson
