Pictured in Tucumn is a 1998 Mercedes-Benz LO814D with Marri Colonnese MC 97 bodywork. In Argentinean tradition it has 1-0-1 door arrangement, opo operation, 2+1 seating, but a novelty was the return to normal control chassis after years of purchasing frontal buses; also new is the use of a plain livery, when the tradition was three colours liveries.

A 1997 Ugarte bodied Mercedes-Benz OHL1420, belonging to Empre-Tuc S.A., at the time the biggest urban bus company in Tucumn, Argentina, running routes 18, 118, 120, 102-Norte, the Tucumn-San Javier-Raco country line, and some private contracts, with 85 buses at all. Unfortunately, because of bad administration the company went off in 1999, and the new buses returned to the dealer in sorry condition.
