I saw at least one Routemaster double decker, but I was told  most of these have been now retired. Here is one of the SLTB Tata buses  passing our car near Kandy. I was told that the SLTB authorities believe  that Tata vehicles are better for steep hill roads. As such, most buses  around the Kandy area are Tata. Sri Lanka, June 2011.    \u00a9  <em>S.
